ACCC_AviationAtlantic Cape’s Aviation Studies degree now offers more possibilities for students who have their sights set on a high-flying, fast-paced career.

Students in the new Professional Helicopter Pilot option will be prepared to earn their Federal Aviation Administration license as a private and commercial helicopter pilot with an instrument rating. Atlantic Cape offers pilot courses in partnership with Helicopter Flight Services.

Upon successful completion of the program, which leads to an Associate in Science degree in Aviation Studies, students will be prepared for entry-level employment as a commercial helicopter pilot or to continue their education.

The Airplane Flight Instructor Certificate offers the opportunity to obtain the knowledge  and aeronautical proficiency necessary to meet the requirements for a commercial rating with an airplane category and a single-engine land class rating, and a flight instructor certificate with an airplane category rating and single-engine class rating.

Credits earned in this program can be applied toward a degree in Aviation Studies.
